Students may wish to obtain off campus accommodation in the private rental market. You can begin your search for private rental accommodation by checking local newspapers for rental and share accommodation, surfing the Internet, visiting local real estate agents and checking the Accommodation Services Private Rental Listings.

Real Estate Agents

There are many real estate agents located in nearby suburbs who can assist you to find private rental accommodation such as a house, flat, studio or bedsitter.

If you find a place you like and wish to apply to lease it you will need to show supporting documentation. So remember to bring along your ID, proof of income/employment, references from previous landlords and/or personal references.
