Dr Susan Howlett MBBS (U/Syd) 1976
Whichever ancient, Greek or Chinese scholar proclaimed: “It is far more preferable to prevent disease rather than to treat it,” I Agree! I enjoy trying to encourage people to maintain their own health through sensible nutrition, regular enjoyable physical activities, and sound mental and spiritual hygiene. In the context of a holistic approach to medicine I practice medical acupuncture, having lived in Asia for many years. I enjoy being a mother to teenage girls, sharing delicious “healthy” food, “safe levels of alcohol”, a cool wind on my face, emerging leaves and fragrant blossoms, interesting books, art and of course a good laugh with my friends…the best medicine of all!
