Weight Watchers @ Work Program

Macquarie University Medical Service are introducing a new health initiative for staff on campus, the Weight Watchers at Work (WW@W)Program.

This initiative will assist staff who are seeking to lead a healthier lifestyle by incorporating Weight Loss, Weight Maintenance, Work Life Balance, Healthy Eating, Healthy Ageing, GI Foods and BMI Assessments.

Information Sessions for interested staff will be held on:

* Wednesday, 6 August at 12:00 noon and 1.00 pm in the Senate Room (310) Lincoln Building, C8A.

The program will commence within 2-3 weeks of the first information session if enough staff have an interest.

The WW@WP is offered at a reduced fee to the normal program. With the assistance of Human Resources, staff may set up a payroll deduction for their membership fee, (http://www.pers.mq.edu.au/) or the full amount for twelve weeks can be paid on enrolment.

U@MQ Active

So much so that at the start of the WW@W program they are willing to offer a FREE 2 week trial to the Sport and Aquatic Centre which includes full access to their facilities.(See link below for details)

Please mention this to your work colleagues - and come along to the no obligation information session.
